Let’s get into it!

A Quick Look at The Business

When you get to the Passive Income Geek signup page, you are greeted with a chemist’s flask (an Erlenmeyer flask, to be exact) and the following offering:

  • Find lucrative niches
  • Find killer domain names that are available
  • All my topic research techniques
  • Learn to write content that ranks
  • How to get links organically
  • Clean SEO tips that work
  • Fast and perfect site setup
  • Proven monetization strategies
  • Social media guidelines
  • …and much more!

Let’s go through this bulleted list.

The first one is good. Passive Income Geek (PIG) teaches to create content in evergreen niches that are always popular like health, wealth, and relationships.

Next comes “killer domains.” I’ve been in the game long enough to know that all the killer domains have been taken. I challenge you to think of five killer domain names, then go to GoDaddy and see if they are available.

The third, fourth, and fifth bullets are good. I love number six.

Clean SEO tips sound excellent to me. I’m a white-hat fan myself, and when I see other marketers boasting about how clean they are, I’m ready to raise a glass to them. After all, many potential subscribers have been turned off to online businesses because of black-hat tactics.

Ahh, number seven – I don’t like the word perfect. I can’t accept that.

Everything else looks good. Storgaard is known for his straightforward, no-nonsense, no-fluff approach to business. It has worked for him, and he says it can work for you.

How much Does it Cost?

You pay $399 for the first year and $199 to renew for another year. The recurring fee covers ongoing updates and additions to the course and keeps you abreast of industry changes and best practices.

Is this a good deal? Compared to many other online training courses, yes.

Upsells? There are no upsells, but you are responsible for getting your domain and hosting. These two items can be pretty inexpensive, but each has recurring fees.

Is Anyone Making Wealth

When looking for proof that Passive Income Geek has helped people succeed, I came up short on Trustpilot. However, I found some YouTube videos that speak of success. Here is one such video.

How Difficult Is The Training

Newbies often worry about feeling overwhelmed, so if you are looking for reassurance that the platform is beginner-friendly, easy to navigate, offers step-by-step guidance, and has support available, like mentorship, community forums, or customer service, you are in luck. This business checks all the boxes.

Some prior knowledge of how to navigate WordPress is necessary, or you must be willing to learn.

Is There Robust Support

There is an active community where questions can be asked and feedback obtained. It is a forum-based community (not my favorite method) where questions are posted and answered.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Simple, straightforward training for niche website building and flipping later on.
  • Excellent for focusing on SEO and long-term passive income.
  • Passive Income Geek has lifetime access without ongoing subscription fees.

Cons:

  • Passive Income Geek doesn’t include hosting or tools.
  • It is less comprehensive than a platform exploring different online business models.
  • It’s a relatively small community compared to some.

What Can You Expect to Achieve

Building traffic isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon. It can take 6-12 months of consistent effort to start seeing meaningful traffic. Here’s why it’s worth it:

  • Once traffic grows, it tends to become more stable and predictable. At high volumes, fluctuations in numbers become less meaningful.
  • The income potential increases exponentially as you scale your content and traffic. The snowball effect is real.

Alternatives

If Passive Income Geek isn’t for you, I have another platform that might better fit you. Wealthy Affiliate is better for those seeking an all-encompassing introduction to affiliate marketing and online business building.

The aspect of WA that shines is its community. I have seen no equal online. The WA community offers real-time responses, a live chat for instant answers, a blog, and a question section where the community can respond.

In short, the Wealthy Affiliate community is family.

Both platforms are run by honest leaders who are professional and perform with integrity.

I’m guessing you want to start an online business or wouldn’t be here. It is undoubtedly a great choice. Many have done it successfully, and I’ve done it, too. Now it’s your turn.

Choose either of these or choose another. Either way, you’re a winner!
