A Quick Look at The Business

Commission Hero

Commission Hero is a training program created by Robby Blanchard, designed to help people earn money through affiliate marketing using paid Facebook ads.

The program emphasizes leveraging ClickBank products for high commissions and is tailored toward beginners and those who want to scale their affiliate businesses quickly.

The allure of ClickBank is its high-commission digital products. Since digital products cost little to create and sell, the owners can afford to give them high commission rates.

The course includes step-by-step instructions, case studies, and support to guide users through setting up ads, choosing the right products, and optimizing campaigns.

Success Stories and Testimonials

Commission Hero has numerous success stories from individuals who have managed to generate substantial income through its methods.

Testimonials often highlight users who were initially skeptical or had no prior experience in affiliate marketing but saw significant financial success after applying the strategies.

Debbie said:

The Best Support I’ve Ever Experienced!

“The support that Commission Hero gives each step of the way is way beyond helpful! I’ve never joined any money making group that is as supportive and encouraging as this group. I had zero experience with affiliate marketing and now I’m making money. And the best part is, it’s fun!!!!”

Date of experience: September 14, 2024

There are case studies of people earning thousands of dollars per day, which is a significant draw for the program. However, it’s important to remember that results vary, and not everyone experiences such success immediately.

One in ten people at Trustpilot gave one-star reviews. Now, this is very interesting. Don’t skim over this part because it is important!! There are many five-star reviews at Trustpilot, most of which are dated very recently, around the end of September and the beginning of October, which tells me that there was a big push at Commission Hero to get good reviews posted. Most of the reviews are from Newbies. It took reading 17 reviews before I finally found Debbie, who said she was actually making money. The One-star reviews were from various dates. What does this tell us? You will have to draw your own conclusions.

Ease of Use and Learning

The program is designed to be accessible even for beginners.

The training is broken down into clear, actionable steps, making it easy for those new to affiliate marketing to follow along.

It covers the essentials of creating Facebook ads, finding profitable ClickBank products, and tracking results.

However, the learning curve for mastering Facebook ads can be steep, and some users may find the paid advertising component intimidating, especially if they are on a tight budget.

Costs and Value

Commission Hero is a premium product, with a one-time payment of around $997 or three payments of $497 (not a typo!).

There may also be upsells for additional resources or support such as Clickfunnels at $81/month, . The program teaches paid Facebook advertising, so users must budget for ad spend in addition to the initial course cost. While the cost can be steep, those who successfully implement the strategies can potentially recoup their investment and more. However, it’s crucial to consider whether you are comfortable with the additional expense of paid ads before committing.

Support and Community

One of Commission Hero’s standout features is its support system.

Users gain access to a private Facebook group where they can ask questions, share experiences, and get feedback from peers and experts.

Robby Blanchard is active in the group, and the community is known for being responsive and encouraging. Additional email support and live coaching (upsell) options are also available, which can be helpful for those needing more personalized guidance.

Honest Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Step-by-step training suitable for beginners.
  • Focus on high-paying ClickBank products.
  • Access to a supportive and active community.
  • Clear focus on a specific traffic source (Facebook ads).

Cons:

  • High upfront cost and additional advertising expenses.
  • Facebook ads can be challenging to master and require continuous monitoring. Using the methods taught here, you can have Facebook accounts banned.
  • Success is not guaranteed, and the system relies on consistent paid advertising, which can be risky if not managed carefully.
  • There are no refunds.
  • Some users may feel overwhelmed by the complexity of running profitable ads.

Realistic Expectations

Despite the success stories shared on the site, Commission Hero is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

To see results, users need to invest both time and money. The program teaches valuable affiliate marketing strategies, but like any business model, it requires dedication, experimentation, and a willingness to take risks; the most significant risk is financial.

It’s essential to understand that the ad budget is critical and that losses are possible, especially when starting.

Alternatives

If you’re looking for alternatives to Commission Hero, here are a few worth considering:

  • Wealthy Affiliate focuses more on SEO and free traffic sources rather than paid ads. It’s a good option for those who don’t want to risk a large upfront ad spend.
  • Super Affiliate System by John Crestani is another paid advertising-focused course. It covers multiple platforms, such as Google Ads and YouTube, offering more traffic options.
  • Affilorama offers both free and paid training options and takes a broader approach to affiliate marketing, including content creation and SEO strategies.

My opinion

Commission Hero offers training on using paid ads to drive traffic to a limited number of high-commission ClickBank products using Facebook as the marketing platform. I feel this is a case where it worked well for the creator of the system and a few people at first, but as time goes on, success rates go down ~Jim Wilson

It’s too expensive to take a chance on whether it will work for you. Let’s compare it to Wealthy Affiliate Marketing, which teaches affiliate marketing on a much more comprehensive scale. The entry price for CH is $997, once with multiple upsells reaching thousands as time goes on. The entry price for WA is $49/month, with everything you need included.

If you decide online business isn’t to your liking after a few months, would you rather be out $997 or $147? That’s not an ideal way of looking at things, but reality isn’t always perfect.

Let’s take a closer look at the two businesses side by side.
